In this paper, the authors synthesize several broad conjectures that emerged from a collaborative discussion among 35 teachers, principals, researchers, technology integrators, and technical assistance providers at a meeting of the Interactive Technologies Inquiry Group in Auburn, Maine, in November 2014. The meeting was led by the Interactive STEM team at Education Development Center, a major partner in the Research + Practice Collaboratory.
